About Us

   Air West is owned by Rick and Dave Gyoerkoes, the third generation in their family to be in the Air Conditioning and Heating field.  Air West was founded with the goal of becoming the leader in service excellence. Over the last fifteen years, Air West has been on the cutting edge of technology. During those fifteen years, we have succeeded in providing  our customers with excellent service, in a timely manner, when they needed us the most; when their air conditioners stopped working. We also saved our customers a lot of money by installing high efficiency air conditioning systems in their homes. The government has now mandated those high efficiency systems in January 23, 2006.

   We will always strive to put our customers' needs and desires first. We will do everything in our power to provide comfort and energy efficiency for our customers. We take pride in being an honest and ethical team that respects our customers and their homes.

   Air West is proud to be a member of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association Inc. (RACCA). This trade association is the oldest HVAC association in the state of Florida. Businesses and Contractors that have interest in the air conditioning industry come together to promote industry standards and  help each other improve the industry.

   Rick Gyoerkoes, president of Air West, is also President of RACCA. Our service technicians attend continuing education courses regularly through RACCA and other venues.  These courses keep our technicians on top of the latest innovative products and equipment. They are always learning better ways to help meet the needs of our customers. RACCA offers a technical education program, held at PTEC, to teach people in the HVAC trade. This is a nationally recognized program. Air West supports this program each year by enrolling many of our newer employees.
