Utility Rebates are available for Changing out Existing Equipment Residential
Air West participates in rebate programs that local utilities offer. Progress Energy and TECO offer rebates on higher SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) replacement heat pump systems. The higher SEER rating your new equipment has, the higher the rebate you will receive.
Why are they offering this?
A heat pump with a SEER of at least 12 and a HSPF (Heating System Performance Factor) of 7.0 or higher can lower your heating and cooling portion of your electric bill significantly.
Utility Rebates from TECO
Rebates and Incentives for residential customers are up to $250.00. Rebates for commercial customers are $.002083 per BTU (which is about $25.00 per ton). Please visit their web site for more information on their rebate program at http://www.tampaelectric.com/
